Flathead Lake Lodge Lake Activities

 

The beach on Flathead Lake is always a popular gathering spot on hot afternoons. Sailing or boating across the clear blue water, participating in a canoe race, or enjoying a swim in Flathead Lake are all exhilarating ways to spend an afternoon. Water skiing, knee boarding, and wake boarding are included in your dude ranch vacation package, as is the use of canoes, kayaks, and sailboats for individual lake adventures.

 

Sailing

There are a variety of sailboats to choose from at the ranch. The smallest sailboat is 14 feet up to our 27' Olympic Class Solings.

 

Also available at the ranch are two historic 51' Q-class racing sloops, the Questa and the Nor 'Easter. Q-boats were built in 1928 & 1929 as prototypes for Americas Cup boats. Our sailing staff can take you on Flathead Lake for 1-2 hour sails, aboard these majestic sailboats.

 

Lake Cruises

Lake cruises take place several times each week for sightseeing around the Flathead Lake. Take in the stunning Mission Mountains, or watch Bald Eagles and Osprey dive for fish as you cruise in one of the Ranches two classic cruisers.
