Flathead Lake Lodge and Western CPE have been partners in educational vacations for the past 10 years plus. In early June and early September the Lodge will once again welcome class attendees and their families. During the course of a week you can earn your CPE for an entire year. You’ll learn from the nation’s best instructors–renowned experts in their fields–the crucial information you need to be effective in your job and to expand your horizons. After spending a few hours in class, you’ll have the rest of the day and evening to play golf, ride horses, go kayaking, take a boat cruise, play tennis or just relax. During the week the ranch will host a barn dance, our Signature Steak-fry dinner, a family rodeo, and a beachfire with music and s’mores.

The lodge finished up the 2007 season on October 14th. Our 62nd season was one of our best and we want to thank all the guests and staff that made it possible. The weather here is cooling down and the leaves have changed color, but no snow here yet. The fall is one of the most beautiful times in Montana.

We have already started our projects for the winter and are beginning to confirm the reservations for 2008. Hopefully it will be as sucessful as 2007.

Doug and Maureen’s oldest son, Chase, graduated from Pacific Lutheran University on May 28th. Chase majored in Business Administration/Entrepreneurship. He also played tight end for the PLU football team. Chase is now helping in the management of the Lodge and in the new development Saddlehorn.
