For the last 76 years, our family has been welcoming guests to our ranch in Bigfork, Montana, to experience an unforgettable, all-inclusive Montana ranch vacation. We’d love to invite you and your family to make memories and explore this place we call home.
An adventure that’s just for the grown-ups, this all-inclusive getaway is designed to connect you with the wild outdoors, while also providing cozy accommodations and a chance to relax under Montana’s star-filled sky. This package offers the best of early autumn in Montana, with warm days and cool nights, both of which are perfect for soaking up all-inclusive on-site recreation at Flathead Lake Lodge.
We’ve been rated in the top 2% best family vacations spots in America. In Montana, our lodge is the highest rated hospitality facility by the Mobile Travel Guide. The finest tribute of all, however, is that well over half of our guests return to the ranch each year. Many who return are second-generation guests who want their children and grandchildren to experience Flathead Lake Lodge as they did when they were young.
Averill’s Flathead Lake Lodge is a place unlike any other. When it comes to family vacations, adult getaways, corporate retreats and destination weddings, our Montana ranch has a wide selection of activities—from adventure to recreation and relaxation—and we have the largest selection of activities for one all-inclusive rate. During a stay at the lodge, each day offers a variety of options to choose from, including everything from horseback trail rides to sailing on historic sailboats on Flathead Lake and mountain biking to fly-casting lessons, the opportunity for adventure is endless.
Our grandfather, Les Averill, started Flathead Lake Lodge in 1945. Three generations later, we’re proud to carry on his legacy—as well as the legacy of our father Doug Averill—doing what we love in the place we love most. Today, we welcome guests to Montana and introduce them to the genuine Western lifestyle that’s been found here on the shores of Flathead Lake for the last 76 years. Once you stay at Flathead Lake Lodge, you become part of our family, and that’s a mantra we live by.
