Fine Dining, with a Western Flare

Meals at our Montana ranch are a mix of satisfying home cooking, hearty staples, international influences, local ingredients and touches of the West. All meals are made from scratch by Chef Rob, while Pastry Chef Kaitlin brings her special touch to our desserts, pastries and treats. Menus highlight fine cuts of Montana-raised local meats, fresh produce and decadent desserts. From bison tenderloin to homemade huckleberry pancakes, baked beans and our famous undone brownies, our culinary team makes sure you leave with satisfied taste buds and a true taste of Montana.

A Family-Oriented Morning Ride

A leisurely, early morning outing, our breakfast ride takes guests on horseback up a forested ridge where you’re greeted with a campfire, bacon, pancakes and coffee in the woods.

An Advanced Horseback Ride

A multi-hour activity, our lunch ride takes experienced riders across the ranch’s diverse terrain to our cabin overlooking Swan Lake.

A Weekly Tradition

A Wednesday night tradition, guests head to steak fry by horseback or vintage fire truck and enjoy steaks – with all the fixings – cooked over an open flame in our mountain meadow.

Breakfast

Our commitment to home cooking and delectable meals is a tradition that’s been in place for eight decades. During your stay, you’ll enjoy mouth-watering culinary offerings, with many ingredients sourced from around northwest Montana and the Flathead Valley. Start the day off right with breakfast, which is often served from our outdoor kitchen.

Lunch

Lunch at the lodge is one of our favorite meals. Each day has its own theme, taking guests on a culinary journey. This is also the best time to try the cookie of the day (although you can always swing by the on-site bakery to pick up a sweet treat, too).

Dinner

Dinner is always a highlight of the day. Some guests will pick out their dining room spot for the week, while others will move to a new table each night, especially as dinner is the perfect time to catch up with friends and enjoy tasty offerings after a day soaking up life at the ranch.

Saddlesore Saloon

Located inside the Main Lodge and open daily from 2-11 p.m., our quaint saloon is here to quench your needs after a fun adventure-filled day at the ranch. Cozy up in our inside bar or enjoy sitting on the deck and sipping your cocktail looking out over Flathead Lake. Enjoy daily happy hour at 5 p.m., including a chef’s choice of appetizers, while you catch up with lodge guests and meet new friends.

The saloon menu features a curated selection of premium spirits and liquors, wines and local and domestic beers.
